ITEA Review #2 Meeting in Wetter

The InnoSale review occurred on February 1st at DEMAG's premises in Wetter, Germany. It served as a pivotal event for stakeholders to assess the progress and achievements of the InnoSale project. The review session commenced with opening remarks from ITEA chair Jean-François Lavignon followed by a presentation of the project coordinator Frank Werner on the project's status.

During the session, significant emphasis was placed on highlighting notable achievements and ongoing actions related to project management and standardization efforts. This included a presentation on the project roadmap, milestones, methodologies, and standards being achieved to ensure the project's success. Progress updates across different work packages were also presented, showcasing advancements made in various facets of the project. These updates likely delved into developments, challenges encountered, and solutions implemented within each work package, providing a comprehensive view of the project's evolution.

A consecutive session featured live demonstrations of five key tools developed as part of the project. These demonstrations showcased a diverse range of capabilities, including semi-automatic ontology generation, speech-to-text and semantic search, customer segmentation-based configuration recommendation, optimal price forecasting, and UI development on LLE. Each tool addressed specific challenges within its respective domain, illustrating the project's innovative approach and its impact across multiple areas such as knowledge organization, text processing, customer analytics, pricing strategy optimization, and user interface design.

The review meeting concluded with valuable insights from the consortium and a forward-looking project outlook. Additionally, following the review meeting, guests were offered a guided factory visit, providing them with a tour of DEMAG's production facilities for light lifting cranes and equipment.
