From 15th to 17th November 2022, the InnoSale Consortium met for their semi-annual project coordination meeting in Hyvinkää, Finland, to discuss the project state and upcoming activities. The meeting was hosted by Konecranes, a manufacturer and service provider of cranes and lifting equipment.
On the 15th of November, official meetings started by presenting updated use cases for Demag, Konecranes, Molok, UC3M & Panel, and Ermetal. InnoSale framework requirements have been processed and discussed with the solution providers. System architectural concept, elements, and interfaces have been debated.
After our communal lunch, use case providers’ requirements with respect to semantic search and the technical partners’ contribution to each requirement were presented. The top-level and domain ontologies were assessed. The first day has closed with WP4 presentations, touching upon the points such as user dialog component and UI design for use cases as well as identification of common components.
2nd day started with WP5 presentations led by Adesso. Here, the system integration strategy has been introduced. After discussing the implementation, demonstration, and validation of project results, the project team had a factory visit to Konecranes' premises. During the factory visit partner companies from the InnoSale project listened carefully to given explanations that will guide the envisaged InnoSale solution and have a direct impact on the development of the platform.
On the last day of the PCC, issues regarding the dissemination and management of the project were discussed.
The PCC in Hyvinkää has been a great opportunity and experience for Innosale partners to strengthen the collaboration between consortia, reinforce the technical progress as well as enjoy the beautiful Finnish landscape.
