PCC#3 Meeting in Ankara

The InnoSale Consortium gathered in Ankara, Turkey from May 23rd to May 24th, 2023, for their semi-annual project coordination meeting. The purpose was to assess project progress and plan future activities. Dakik, a technology provider specializing in AI and machine learning, hosted the meeting, bringing valuable expertise to the discussions. The meeting in Ankara fostered collaboration and productivity, driving advancements in the InnoSale project.

On the first day, presentations were given on use cases and detailed requirements analysis. The session also covered system design, algorithm design, data integration, and user interfaces. The first day of the meeting concluded with a discussion and closing remarks. After the meeting, some partners went back to their hotels and enjoyed Turkish baths. We also took the opportunity to explore the campus with some partners. Özer, our host, shared interesting historical facts about the campus, leaving the participants in awe of its greenery and vastness. Later, we concluded the day with a delightful and enjoyable dinner. With a pleasant dinner, our guests had the opportunity to taste the delicious dishes of Turkish cuisine.

The second day focused on system integration and testing of the InnoSale Knowledge Platform. Presentations highlighted completed tasks and progress in the integration and testing processes. The meeting then moved on to demonstrations and validation, with presentations on various market demonstrators. The afternoon session covered the dissemination and exploitation of results, including planning for dissemination, the project website, the collaboration platform, and the exploitation strategy. The activities in project management and standardization were also discussed.

The meeting concluded with a summary and closing remarks, acknowledging the productive discussions and experiences gained during the event. After wrapping up the productive sessions and discussions held during the two-day event, the PCC in Ankara, Turkey has provided an invaluable opportunity and enriching experience for InnoSale partners to enhance collaboration among consortia, accelerate technical advancements, and appreciate the captivating surroundings.
